DESCRIPTION This is a genuine Sash Pin from the Victorian Era. These pins look similar to belt buckles, they were decorative pins used to hold a Lady's garments together. This Sash Pin is made of brass with raised ornamentation and set with four large bezel set simulated amethysts. It measures 3 inches across and 2-1/4 inches length and has the old "c" clasp. They were often featured in mail- order catalogs and frequently in magazines. This would make a wonderful addition to any collection!
