| Back | This is a Victorian 14k gold buckle bracelet. This bracelet is in wonderful condition and is ever so elegant. It is a hinged bracelet with an invisible clasp and safety chain. It has black enamel through the center and an outline of detailing. There is beading and milgrain decoration on the edging, as well as rough cutting on the buckle strap, the hinge and the clasp. The buckle pin rocks on a drilled rod through the top of the bracelet. The weight is 13.7 dwt. The craftsmanship on this lovely bracelet is superb. The Victorian women were very small in stature and thus this handsome bracelet is for a small wrist (it measures 6 inches around). What an exceptional piece of history! |
