DESCRIPTION

Large early 1920's Art Deco, Mexican carved Bracelet. Lavish detail decorates the Sterling Silver Frames that surround the carved Gem Stone Faces. The bracelet has nine sterling silver hinged links with nine carved Jasper faces. The older Mexican Jewelry is marked Mexico in script and Sterling. From 1947 to 1979, the Mexican government required an eagle stamp to be used as assay mark on all sterling or higher grade silver jewelry. In 1979, a new registry system which uses two letters and a number was adopted by the Mexican government. This piece is older and does not have any of those stamps. This bracelet measures 7 inches in length and 3/4 inches in width it has a hidden box clasp. This striking Mexican Silver Bracelet is of very high quality and is in wonderful condition. Purchase of this beautiful piece of jewelry includes an appraisal valued at $350.
