DESCRIPTION

This is a large and luxurious piece of beautifully crafted Hattie Carnegie jewelry. It is a post WW II Victorian Revival piece. A huge domed celluloid done in purple much like an Amethyst anchors this sticking necklace with two smaller ones decorating the mesh tassel. These domed pieces are shaped liked oval cabochons with a bezel setting. Four small green plastic beads compliment the decorative brass plate. This setting is done on ornately designed brass decorated with flowers and leaves. The bottom part has three dangling green and purple drops. This is a Queenly Necklace that deserves a high profile. The necklace measures 17- 1/2 inches in length and is made with a heavy chain that has decorative panels in the front and a spring ring closure. The extraordinary designed part measures 10 inches in length and 2-1/4 inches in width at its widest part. This must have been a necklace that was commissioned by Hattie herself and produced before her death in 1956. This is a very rare, unique piece that would be loved by a collector or someone who just has to have a one of a kind piece of jewelry. The condition is excellent.
